Bali Budget Trip | $ 15 Per Day | Including Scooter/Hostel/Food

Bali is a dream destination for folks in India, with so many tourists heading there every month. I was also excited to finally being able to land at this beautiful Island. After landing in Bali, I visited Nusa Penida and was traveling to Ubud next. This article is all about that.

Scooter Rental in Bali – Sanur Bike Rental

After getting off the fast boat at Sanur Beach, I started walking towards the market. With no success for Scooter rentals, I searched online and found the nearest one being 1km away. I took a Gojek bike taxi and headed over therewith. To my surprise, the Scooter Rental was cheaper than even Goa, just Rs 250/Day or 4$. So I took one and headed over to Ubud, which was 25kms away.

With the beautiful roads, it was a beautiful experience, but this was not enough to let the story reach the evening you will know why.

Hostel in Bali – New Ubud Hostel

After reaching Ubud, I checked into my hostel which I got for just Rs 280/day with AC and 8 Sharing beds. The hostel was amazing at such cheap rates you should not expect much but what they offered was a lot. And will give full marks to this hostel, and everyone would as I got what I saw on booking.com.

Visiting the Temple – Ulun Danu Beratan

The first spot I wanted to visit after reaching Ubud, was Ulun Danu Beratan Temple. It’s not in Ubud but at a distance of 50kms which took me around 2 hours to reach. Beautiful roads, accompanied by a drizzle I made it to the temple, which was just mind-blowing. Finally being able to see it with my eye a foggy lake surrounding the whole area. A crowded place which you will find in most Asian tourist destinations including Bali. The entry to the temple was charged at Rs 250, and you can spend lots of time walking around that beautiful place.

Visiting the Bali Gate – Handara Iconic Gate

I was lucky that after exploring the gate, I googled and found out that the Handara Iconic Gate was just 3kms away. So I took my scooter and headed over there, which was a treat. I don’t know if it looks that majestic always but the rain really added extra glamour to the place. With those fog-covered mountains and the amazing vibe you get there.

But it’s the truth that if you wish to enjoy Bali you have to ignore the crowd around you. Lucky again, seeing me alone they gave me the chance to take a picture next to the gate. And helped me get one too if you are a photographer I would suggest you visit early or it would be impossible for you to take those banger shots.

To take even photos you need to pay around Rs 150/ $2 to the counter just as you enter the place. With many other options to choose from.
